Kew Gardens cover over 300 acres and show off a diverse plant collection. There are several greenhouses with different climates, including a Palm House, Alpine House, Waterlily House and Princess of Wales Conservatory containing different climate zones. For those who don’t wish to walk, Kew does provide a land-train service around the garden, which means you can also see the Pagoda and Queen Charlotte’s little thatched cottage. Kew also boasts a royal palace, but not on the scale of Buckingham Palace - it was lived in by King George III while he was suffering one of his fits of madness.
